Best Affiliate Management Software for SaaS in 2026
Rewardful, Tolt, FirstPromoter, Reditus, Trackdesk and more — how each one bands your bill on tracked revenue, who actually pays your affiliates, and why most SaaS companies should buy nothing yet.

Almost every affiliate tool for SaaS charges the same way: a flat monthly platform fee, banded on how much revenue your affiliates generate. Cross a threshold and you move up a tier. That matters more than any feature, because it means the software gets more expensive at exactly the moment it starts working.
The second thing to know is that the tool is not the hard part. Recruiting partners who want to promote you is.
Disclosure, up front: destackd publishes affiliate-supported content and is building its own affiliate programme footprint, so this is a category adjacent to our own business model. Read what follows with that in mind. There are no affiliate links in this article and every vendor link below is a plain URL.
Read This Before You Read the Comparison
Most early-stage SaaS companies do not need affiliate software. They need affiliates.
Affiliate software is a ledger. It attributes a signup to a partner, watches the subscription, calculates a commission, and produces a payout list. Every one of those functions presupposes partners already promoting you. A tool tracking zero partners is a subscription for a spreadsheet.
Recruiting partners is a relationship problem, and no dashboard solves it. If your honest answer to "who is going to promote us?" is "we'll put a link in the footer and see," you are not ready to buy, and buying will not make you ready.
The test is unglamorous. Can you name five people or companies, today, who would plausibly promote your product to an audience that already trusts them? If not, spend the money on the relationships instead. Run the first handful manually — a spreadsheet, a coupon code each, a monthly PayPal transfer — and you will learn what commission structure and attribution rules you actually need before paying a vendor to enforce the wrong ones. Buy software when manual tracking breaks: when you cannot reconcile who referred whom, when partners ask for a dashboard, or when payout day takes an afternoon.
The Pricing Shape You Are Buying Into
Nearly all of these vendors band their flat fee on monthly revenue tracked through affiliates — not your total MRR, the slice your partners generate.
Read the incentive honestly. A programme doing $4,000/month in affiliate revenue sits near the bottom of most ladders. Take it to $16,000/month and you have likely crossed two thresholds. The tool has not changed; the bill has. That is how vendors avoid charging beginners enterprise rates, but it means you should model the tier you expect at the end of next year, not the one you qualify for today.
The second cost is easy to miss: payout processing. Some vendors move the money and take a percentage of it — Tolt's pricing page describes auto payouts carrying a 2% processing fee, and Reditus lists payout fees of 5% CC / 2% invoice, both as of 20 July 2026. Others hand you an export file to run through PayPal Mass Payments or a Wise batch yourself. "0% commission" on a homepage usually refers to the commission ledger, not the money movement — check both lines.
The third cost appears on no pricing page: someone has to run the programme. Budget a human, or accept that it will stall.
The Structure Comparison
| Tool | What it meters | Payment integrations | Who pays affiliates | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rewardful | Monthly revenue from affiliates, banded; 0% transaction fee | Deep two-way Stripe sync, plus Paddle | You — export and pay; one-click PayPal payouts on the top tier | Stripe-billed SaaS wanting the least fragile attribution |
| Tolt | Monthly revenue earned from affiliates, banded; 0% commission | Two-way sync with Stripe, Paddle and Chargebee | Either — manual export, or auto payouts with a 2% processing fee | SaaS that wants payouts handled without building a process |
| FirstPromoter | Monthly revenue from affiliates, banded | Stripe (one-click payouts, historical import, auto coupon creation) | You, via PayPal mass pay, Wise batch or Stripe one-click | Programmes needing flexible commission rules and bulk payout rails |
| Reditus | Tracked ARR, banded — an annual figure, not monthly | Stripe coupon tracking, API and webhooks | Reditus, with a 5% CC / 2% invoice payout fee | B2B SaaS combining in-app referral and affiliate in one place |
| Trackdesk | Program revenue, banded, at a much higher entry point | 900+ integrations; Tipalti, PayPal, Wise, Confirmo, fiat and crypto | Automated global payouts through those rails | Multi-vertical or network-scale programmes, not early SaaS |
| LoyaltySurf | Participants enrolled, not revenue | Stripe, PayPal, Chargebee, Recurly, HubSpot, Slack, Zapier | LoyaltySurf fulfils rewards — gift cards, credits, cash | Customer referral and advocacy rewards, not classic affiliate |
| PartnerStack | Quote-only; sized on programme, features and support | Not published | Handled through PartnerStack | Established programmes wanting a partner marketplace |
| Reflio | — | — | — | Appears defunct — see below |
Column two is the one to read first. Everything else is a feature argument; that column is the cost model you will live with.
Rewardful
Rewardful is the default recommendation for Stripe-billed SaaS, and the reason is integration depth rather than feature count.
Its pricing page, as of 20 July 2026, shows Starter at $49/month for up to $7,500/month in affiliate revenue, Growth at $99/month up to $15,000/month, and Enterprise from $149/month above that — USD, 14-day trial, two months free on annual billing, 0% transaction fee on commissions. Confirm current bands on Rewardful's pricing page.
The structural strength is that Rewardful reads your Stripe data rather than relying on your app to report conversions, which matters most where affiliate tracking usually breaks. Per Rewardful's help centre, the default referral cookie window is 60 days, configurable per campaign. Commissions sit pending before becoming due, and its documentation describes recalculating the commission based on the refunded amount — for a partial or a full refund alike — and updating the Stripe invoice metadata to match — provided the refund lands before payout. After payout, recovering an overpayment is your problem, which is the argument for matching the pending period to your own refund policy rather than leaving the default.
The limitation is scope: one campaign on the entry tier, and a design built around subscription billing rather than multi-tier partner hierarchies. Right trade for most SaaS companies, wrong one for a reseller channel.
Tolt
Tolt is the closest direct competitor and differentiates on two things: broader billing coverage and doing the payouts for you.
Its pricing page, as of 20 July 2026, shows Basic at $69/month up to $10,000/month earned from affiliates, Growth at $99/month up to $20,000/month, Pro at $199/month up to $50,000/month, and custom Enterprise above that — USD, 14-day trial, 0% commission on the ledger. Check Tolt's pricing page.
Tolt describes a two-way sync with Stripe, Paddle and Chargebee, so subscription, cancellation and refund events flow back and adjust the affiliate record. If you bill through Paddle as merchant of record, or through Chargebee, that coverage is the differentiator — many Stripe-first tools treat non-Stripe billing as second-class.
Payouts are where the money question returns. Export pending payouts and run PayPal Mass Payments or a Wise batch yourself, or enable auto payouts and let Tolt pay via PayPal, Wise or Payoneer for a stated 2% processing fee. For a programme paying out $10,000 a month, that fee is a larger line than the subscription.
FirstPromoter
FirstPromoter is the long-standing option and the most flexible on commission logic — tiered rates, recurring versus one-off, custom rules per campaign.
Its pricing page, as of 20 July 2026, shows Starter at $49/month up to $5,000/month in affiliate revenue, Business at $99/month up to $15,000/month, and Enterprise from $149/month above that — USD, 14-day trial, no card required, with further enterprise tiers noted. Confirm on FirstPromoter's pricing page.
Payout mechanics are its practical strength: PayPal mass bulk payouts, Wise bulk payouts and Stripe one-click payouts, plus historical import and automatic coupon creation — though all of these sit on Business ($99) and above, and historical import is Enterprise-only, so the $49 Starter tier does not include them. Historical import is underrated — it attributes existing customers to partners retroactively when you migrate, which is otherwise a reconciliation nightmare.
The trade-off is that flexibility costs configuration time. Rewardful and Tolt make more decisions for you; FirstPromoter hands you the rules engine.
Reditus
Reditus is explicitly B2B-SaaS-shaped and bands on tracked ARR, not monthly affiliate revenue. Its pricing page, as of 20 July 2026, showed Startup at $99/month up to $60K ARR and Growth at $179/month up to $120K ARR, higher tiers annual-only, in USD. Comparing an ARR cap against a competitor's monthly cap is the easiest arithmetic mistake in this category — divide by twelve before concluding anything, and read Reditus's pricing page yourself.
Reditus handles payouts, listing fees of 5% CC / 2% invoice. It also combines in-app referral with affiliate in one dashboard — a genuine distinction, since customer referrals and professional affiliates behave differently and most tools model only the second. Its own pricing page frames the pitch bluntly: "Tracking isn't the hard part. Growing affiliate revenue is." That is the argument of this article.
Trackdesk, LoyaltySurf and PartnerStack
Trackdesk is a different weight class. Its pricing page, as of 20 July 2026, starts at Business, $329/month, covering program revenue up to $30,000/month, with Enterprise from $499/month, which the page describes as "for unlimited scale, with tiered pricing" — so treat $499 as a floor, not a flat rate — and Enterprise PLUS from $1,199/month, in USD, two months free on annual billing. We found no free-forever plan on the current page — only a 14-day assisted trial — so if an older roundup promised you one, verify on Trackdesk's pricing page. It serves crypto, iGaming, finance and lead-gen as well as SaaS, advertises fraud protection through Anura, and pays out via Tipalti, PayPal, Wise and crypto rails. Buy it if you run a network with real invalid-traffic exposure; it is overbuilt for a SaaS company with fifteen partners.
LoyaltySurf keeps appearing in affiliate roundups and is not really an affiliate tool. It is an advocacy and loyalty rewards platform — rewarding users for any action, from leaving a G2 review to referring a colleague — and it meters participants enrolled, not revenue tracked. That is a better shape if your programme is customer referral rather than professional affiliates. Its pricing page rendered every plan as $0 for us, figures evidently loading client-side, so no price is quoted here; the visible structure was a free tier to 50 participants, Startup to 500, Business to 10,000, 30% off annual. Read LoyaltySurf's pricing page in a browser.
PartnerStack publishes no prices. Its pricing page states that "Pricing is based on your partner program size, feature needs, and level of support. Your final plan and pricing are confirmed during your demo," across Launch, Growth and Enterprise tiers. Expect to negotiate, and expect a figure well above anything else here. What you are buying is the partner marketplace — access to partners already looking for programmes — which is the one thing here that addresses recruitment rather than tracking. Ask hard, specific questions about how many marketplace partners have activated for companies your size. Our SaaS renewal negotiation playbook applies directly to quote-only vendors like this one.
Reflio Appears to Be Gone
Reflio was an open-source affiliate platform for SaaS, and it still shows up on current comparison lists. As of 20 July 2026, reflio.com returns an HTTP 402 Payment Required response rather than a website — the signature of a disabled hosting deployment. The GitHub repository it was published under returns a 404, and the surviving forks we found were last pushed between 2022 and 2024. We found no formal shutdown announcement, so treat this as a strong signal rather than a certainty — but do not put an unmaintained ledger in the path of money you owe people.
Generalise it. This category is full of small vendors and the failure mode is unusually bad: an affiliate tool that goes dark takes your attribution history with it. Before signing, check the vendor's changelog and support channel for activity this quarter, and confirm you can export commission records.
What to Actually Do
If you have no partners, buy nothing. Recruit five, track them in a spreadsheet with unique coupon codes, and pay them manually for a quarter. You will learn your real commission economics for the price of some admin.
If manual tracking is breaking, match the tool to your billing stack first. Stripe-only and subscription-billed: Rewardful. Paddle or Chargebee: Tolt's two-way sync is the differentiator. Complex commission rules or a migration with history to preserve: FirstPromoter. Customer advocacy rather than professional affiliates: LoyaltySurf's participant meter fits better than any revenue band.
Then check what you already own — our guide to subscription analytics tools covers which platforms surface revenue by source natively, and a sales tech stack audit usually finds something adjacent already paid for.
The de-stacking version: affiliate software is a good purchase at the right moment and pure bloat before it, and the right moment is defined by partner count, not ambition. If nobody is promoting you, the fix is a recruitment effort, a decent landing page for the programme, and an email sequence to keep partners engaged — none of which is affiliate software.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need affiliate software to start an affiliate programme?
No. For your first handful of partners, unique coupon codes in your billing system and a spreadsheet do the job, and paying manually once a month teaches you what commission structure actually works. Buy software when reconciliation starts breaking or partners begin asking for their own dashboard — typically somewhere above ten active partners.
Why does affiliate software price on my tracked revenue?
It lets vendors charge beginners very little and scale with customers whose programmes succeed. The consequence is that the tool gets more expensive precisely as it starts working, so model the tier you expect in twelve months, not the one you qualify for today. Reditus bands on tracked ARR rather than monthly revenue, so divide by twelve before comparing it to anything else.
Which affiliate tool has the best Stripe integration?
Rewardful is built around a two-way Stripe sync and reads subscription events directly rather than depending on your app to report conversions, so refunds and cancellations propagate reliably. Tolt describes two-way sync with Stripe, Paddle and Chargebee, making it stronger if you are not Stripe-only. FirstPromoter adds Stripe one-click payouts and historical import, useful when migrating an existing programme.
What happens to affiliate commissions when a customer refunds or churns?
Good tools hold commissions pending for a defined period before they become payable, then adjust or void them if a refund lands in that window. Rewardful's documentation describes recalculating the commission based on the refunded amount — for a partial or a full refund alike — and updating the Stripe invoice metadata to match, with a default pending period of 30 days. Align that pending period with your own refund policy — once a commission is paid out, recovering it is a manual conversation, not an automatic reversal.
Is Reflio still available?
It appears not. As of July 2026, reflio.com returns an HTTP 402 response rather than a working site, its original GitHub repository 404s, and surviving forks were last updated between 2022 and 2024. We found no formal shutdown announcement, so treat it as unverified rather than confirmed dead — but do not run live commission tracking on it.
Who actually pays my affiliates?
It varies, and the cost difference is real. Rewardful and FirstPromoter mainly hand you export files and bulk payout rails — PayPal mass pay, Wise batch, Stripe one-click — so you move the money at your own cost. Tolt offers auto payouts with a stated 2% processing fee, and Reditus lists payout fees of 5% CC / 2% invoice, both as of July 2026. On a programme paying out five figures monthly, that percentage can exceed the subscription.
